the honest packaging campaign
Food is human fuel. We need it to survive. It plays a huge role in our lives as we use it in celebration and in sorrow. However we never actually think about the affect the food we eat is having on our mood.
The Honest Packaging Campaign would serve as a pop-up exhibition, showcasing examples of products that stretch the truth. Authenticity, uniqueness and quality standards are all easy to imply through the visuals of packaging. Employing colour theory, and shopping psychology this project takes a light-hearted but in-depth look at the packaging design industry in order to emphasize the deceptive qualities and techniques used.
