synaesthesia; ways of thinking

Synaesthesia is a perceptual experience where two or more senses are activated when in the presence of an external stimulus. In simpler terms, shapes can create sounds, letters can evoke colours and numbers and objects can have a spacial location. The condition occurs from increased communication between sensory regions in the brain. It is an involuntary and automatic reaction in the synaesthete.

The aim of this project is to create awareness of the phenomenon and teach creatives that they can use synaesthetic thinking as a creative/idea generating aid.
