The notion of frisson embodies a lust for incessant and succinct stimulation. This stimulation can come from many sources such as sounds, nature, art or emotions stirred up by an experience. In recent times however it has become a much easier endeavour to achieve the hit of frisson with an endless array of stimuli begging to be clicked and interacted with.
With the rise of the internet and surge in disparate content things are changing in media, in all its forms, to coincide. WIth this, I demonstrated graphically the nature of the change and the implications on how modern media producers attempt to get our attention with promises of a thrill or frisson.
