Naïve. Super is a beautiful book and conventional book formats do not do this literary gem justice. For my final year project I focused on the language of book design and I redesigned this book making the spreads more visual with typographic detailing, use of colour, minimal illustration elements and finishing techniques such as different stocks and tip-ins.
This book doesn't look or feel like a conventional book because of it's size, and varied paper stocks. All of this aims to create more interest among nonreaders.
