affect
Affect is a formal psychological term that refers to an observed emotional state. My project deals with the emotions observed in city dwellers. Feelings towards the city can be almost any subjective reaction or state – pleasant or unpleasant, strong or mild, positive or unpleasant – that is characterised by an emotional response. I looked at how people express love, anger, fear, joy and sadness in response to the surrounding, pace and attitude in the city.
