The rate at which language is evolving in today’s world seems exponential. Much of this can be attributed to media and technology. Many would consider today’s verbal and written language as a degradation of what it used to be. However, much of this communication in text speech and abbreviation can also be seen as a more expressive and precise version of written language. What issues does this raise for our culture and what does is say about where society is headed?

TL;DR is a design publication that focuses on making relevant arguments around controversial issues in contemporary culture. This issue is a photographic response to the current arguments on modern communication, specifically focusing on text speak and communication within technology
